Coco Husk Chips

Coconut husk chips are cubes of irregular shapes, cut from the coconut husk. Husk chips are available in different sizes(10mm, 12mm, etc) depending on the application. The chips can be used as individual growing medium or can be combined with other potting medium. These chips have fibrous crevices which enable high water absorption and retention.

The Coconut husk chips are known for holding water and releasing it evenly, Similiar to a sponge. Husk chip also improves air porosity. They can absorb water and also leave enough air available for sensitive plants such as gerbera and orchid's. Further, the chips work as a substitute for the barks, as these last longer than the barks.
